What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient 5000 year old revived science. It is a safe, natural healing method that deals with the principle that there are reflexes in the hands and feet which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body.

Through application of pressure on these reflexes, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and promotes the natural function of the related areas of the body.

How does it work?

When we stimulate the reflex points, the body’s natural electric energy works along the nervous system and the meridian lines to clear any blockage on those lines, and in the corresponding zones.

A session may also break up crystal deposits (felt as a sandy or gritty area under the skin) which can interfere with the natural flow of the body’s energy.

What is it not?

Reflexology is not a method of diagnosis or prescriptions nor a treatment for specific conditions. It is a thoroughly enjoyable rewarding and wonderfully relaxing experience, absolutely harmless, yet dynamic and effective.

*NOTE: Great Britain has two branches of holistic practices covered by the National Health Service. They are: Alternative Medicine (consisting of Homeopaths, Naturopaths, Medical Herbalists) and The Complementary Therapy branch (consisting of Aromatherapists, Reflexologists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and so on).

In order to reap the full benefits of the sessions,
you will need to remove your shoes and socks.

Group sessions are suited for a maximun number of 10 people a day,
booked between 10am - 3pm,
with an hour break at 12 noon.

For group sessions involving more than 10 people,
twice a week visits can be arranged.
